2012†will be the†21st time that Mansfield Rotary Club have organised the Courage Award event† which is†always a moving occasion, and an inspiration to the young people who are honoured with their participation, their parents, and all the civic and business guests who support the luncheon.†Last March we†again had record number of nominee’s, proof if any were needed, that the event†continues to†go from strength to strength.
The†2012†event will be held on Tuesday†6th March,†once again†at the Sodexo Banqueting Suite at the Civic Centre in Mansfield.

Our President,†Keith Ryan, has pleasure in inviting††all members of Mansfield 2020 to attend the Luncheon and demonstrate the business communities support of these inspirational†young people.† The programme will be run along the same lines as previous years. i.e. there is no outright winner. Each nominee will have equal status and will receive his or her own individual award.
In selecting†their nominee’s† we†have†asked†local schools and colleges to give consideration to the challenges that the individual has faced and overcome in terms of any physical or environmental or mental problems.††They have nominated students† who, in††their opinion,† most exemplifies the moral and spiritual courage required in the face of such personal adversity and difficulty.
