Mansfield & Ashfield 2020 together we mean business

Engaging Local Businesses with Schools

Working in partnership with our education patron The Evolve Trust the 2020 business community are given the opportunity to engage with schools using a strategic and sustainable approach.

The Evolve Trust aim to nurture, develop resilience and empower potential in every child, making it possible for them to lead productive and successful lives. We want our students to leave a positive mark on our and their communities as a whole.

Working with D2N2 – the local enterprise partnership, the Trust has secured funding to work with other local schools on embedding the D2N2 Employability Framework - http://www.d2n2lep.org/Skills/Employability-Frame... and matching schools with a Mansfield & Ashfield 2020 Enterprise Advisor - http://www.d2n2lep.org/Skills/Employability-Frame...

The aim of the Enterprise Advisor Network is to work strategically with the Headteacher to build stronger and sustainable links with the business community to help young people better realise their career potential and understand the skills and behaviours required by businesses. Enterprise Advisors will signpost schools to the most appropriate Career Champion to support the employability activity.
