Mansfield & Ashfield 2020 together we mean business
Having rebranded to Mansfield and Ashfield 2020 over a year ago to demonstrate to the Ashfield business community that they are there to support and represent the two districts; 2020 have identified that the organisation needs to proactively exhibit the positive activities and economic plans the district is involved with that will directly have an impact on growth and development.
2020 are delighted to welcome Ashfield District Council’s CEO Rob Mitchell. He will speak about their involvement in economic developments and their proactive campaign plans to market Ashfield as the place to do business and their activities that are on the way to attract inward investment.
Operations Director for 2020, Caroline Cox comments: ‘It’s been a pleasure to work in partnership with Ashfield District Council; they are clearly a motivated and driven Council with a clear vision for the future. 2020 are embracing and supporting their plans but we would like more Ashfield based businesses to join us so we can truly represent the demands and needs of the Ashfield Business community and make things happen for Ashfield as we have done for Mansfield over the last 25 years’.
The meeting is hosted and sponsored by Portland College, Mansfield. They will be taking the opportunity to tell the business community about the positive impact the generosity of the local business community has had on their learners and the opportunities it has provided.
The meeting offers an informal, friendly environment for local business leaders to connect, inter-trade and engage about local activities for economic growth – all over a full English breakfast courtesy of the hosts Portland College from 7.15am – 9am.
The February breakfast meeting is hosting a speed networking session from 7.15am – 7.30am giving you the opportunity to promote your services to all attendees. From 7.30am you will enjoy informal networking at a strategically planned and organised table where you can enjoy a full English breakfast with a table host to help the networking process.
From 8am business community announcements will be made that include opportunities and business environment updates. Presentations will be delivered throughout the morning.
