R.E.A.L. Education was formed in 2008 to provide expertise and provision to school and local authorities to meet the needs of children and young people at risk of exclusion.

The D2N2 Digital Growth Programme will offer bespoke and structured digital business support and advice across the whole of Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire. Business guest speaker Alastair Cunningham, agent for Bank of England covering the East Midlands will be conducting his annual update to the 2020 business community. His role is to act as the eyes and ear of the Monetary Policy Committee testing economic theories against the real world. He always delivers an informative, insightful and interesting presentation. There will be a Q& A session as he will be gathering intelligence on how businesses are doing. It will also allow members the opportunity to help ensure that monetary policy makers are aware of Mansfield and Ashfield’s experiences. Brian Stopford of Stopford associates will be delivering a useful summary from the budget and explaining what it means for businesses.
The 2020 Business Development and Business Community group hosted their 2nd breakfast networking meeting of the year on Thursday (23rd Feb) at Portland College, Mansfield.
The meeting event partner was D2N2 Growth hub and they took the opportunity to make local businesses aware of initiatives and opportunities. It has been claimed that there has never been as much business support available then what there is now. The support is free and covers funding for growth, training, innovation and more.
